Thanksgiving is just a few days away and Downtown Arab is really beginning to look a lot like Christmas - The Cupboard is overflowing with hundreds of handmade Christmas ornaments, hand painted greeting cards, art work, and more seasonal decorations. Be sure to stop by today to see the "Here Kitty Kitty" cards - a must have for all Alabama fans! 

10-22-09:  Wow! Where did summer get off to? Here it is the middle of our fall season. Downtown Arab is covered in mums, hay bales and scarecrows - and everyone is excited about the last street dance of the season on October 31st. 

Christmas is fast approaching and I've been busy rearranging the shop getting as much room as possible for all the handmade ornaments, decorations and gifts. 

After much consideration, we've decided to discontinue the vintage item portion of the store. We will be keeping the items that can be used in crafting - the supplies, etc..., but the gift ware, vintage glass ware, etc.. will be discontinued and we will be returning to all handmade items. This was our first vision and though we've change through the years and the vintage items have done well - our heart is in the handmade and that's where we're returning. 

We've planned a couple of new display ideas so that we can put more original artwork and photography into the shop - so be watching for new items!
